loose tuner key

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, So my son dropped his Peavey Foundation (which is exactly why I bought him his own rather than banging my fender around) and it seems to have loosened the tuner key (E and G strings) so that there is an audible rattle when played. The tuner machines themself work and are not loose, just the actual key that you put your fingers on to adjust. What is the best way to fix this? Adhesive? Thanks for your input.

I put super glue on mine and they worked. No idea beyond that though.

Yeh I have the same problem and was thinking about ordering/installing new tuners. Is there a quick patch job that wouldn't make you shudder?
