| Lost Open E Punch

I have an MIA P-Bass from '05. The E string just doesnt have the same punch as the rest of the open strings do. Its basically a loss of tightness in the E, and very noticeable when i jump to the A, which is very tight and beautiful.
I dont think its the strings, b/c this is the second set in a row that has this problem from the start.

Previous Set: EB Regular Slinkys
anybody have any idea what the problem could be? |
