Lost spring

It goes like this. I was fiddling around inside my Gibson victory and lost a spring that goes with the pickups. Obviously I need a new one. So the question is, is this particular spring some hard to find custom nonsense or something I can get at GC?

Stock item. Any store with a repair department should be able to sell you what you need. Failing that, there's always Stewart MacDonald.

And here we were thinking Stewart MacDonald was some kind of fast-food root beer and burger place.

You can also use foam rubber under the pickups to do what the spring did. StewMac has that available too; it may be longer-lasting than packing foam.

You might be able to scavenge one out of a retractable pen...or just go to a hardware/auto parts store.

I did not know you could use foam. Interesting

I think some people even use polyethylene tubing.

The pen spring idea worked perfectly, so thanks for all the ideas
