| You dont need no video. Just adjust neck relief for minimal. Then start slowly lowering bridge saddles for lowest action for each string listening to results thru the amp rather then unplugged. If you find your getting fretting out at just specific frets, then a fret job is needed, or at least those particuliar frets causing the fretout. Having a very good liutheir/tech do a fret level benefits most basses. But its not allways needed to get below 2mm for action at 12th fret as most of the basses Ive owned have demonstrated. That just takes picking a brand that besides other things, does better then average fretwork when making the thing. Easiest low action in my experience is with basses & guitars whose neck also slightly tilts rearward (toward you when wearing it) in referance to bodies top. Better manufactures build their instruments this way via how they do the neck pocket. Rather then by useing shim imo. But thats just my opinion, many love those shim needed and installed by mfg, basses and guitars. Lol.
