Low B string problem

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently purchased a Washburn 5 string. The low B has some wobble but overall nice instrument for the $$.Lately noticed a very audible vibration or (as i can only describe it as) a flutter in the B string. This is NOT fret buzz.Plenty of space between the board & strings. It will last for a good 13 sec. w/ a normal finger pluck. At first i thought it was coming from the speaker but it's clearly there when the amp is off. It's pretty annoying to say the least ( especially when it's amplified)!Washburn is clueless.I've never experienced this on any other basses.Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Rob
