Lower Ibanez Accucast Bridge?

So I just changed the strings on my SR800, and well, the Fender 9050's are tight like crazy. However, thats made for some unformfortable pressing down on the higher frets...and I can't seem to figure out how to lower it, as the saddles don't have individual adjustments...

Worst comes tow orst...well, I guess its more like the DB now than ever. (Cept, I've never seen a green DB)

I was in a similar situation as you; I have an Ibanez Musician with an Accucast II bridge, and when I changed from light-gauge roundwounds to medium-gauge Fender flatwounds (9050M), my neck was pulled so tight that you could drive a truck under the strings. However, if your string height (which is what the bridge adjustments change) was good beforehand, you shouldn't have to change that once you change strings. What you need to do is adjust the truss rod to deal with the new higher-tension strings. If you do a search on "truss rods" or look at the stickied thread on the top of this Setup and Repair forum "ALL TRUSSROD AND ACTION QUESTIONS ANSWERED HERE", that should tell you what you need to know. Even so, adjusting your truss rod is very simple, but if you're not careful and patient, you can ruin the neck of yoru bass. If after reading about it, you're convinced it's not worth it to do it on your own, take your bass to a shop for a set-up; odds are the set-up will be worth it, even if you could adjust the truss rod yourself.
