Sign in to disble this ad
hey all
after 1 year or so, my f255's bridge snapped
i got my bass from the USA but i live in Lebanon so cant have it repaired here
i have a friend coming here within a month or so
so i want to send with him a replacement bridge for the bass, either the same one or something better

so can you please guys suggest bridges that would fit on the bass with no drilling work? and where i can order them from (online)

i have the ltd f255 neck-thru , got it in 2004

and if anyone had this prob, what'd you do?

I have an F-255 as well, and I'm really puzzled as to how you snapped your bridge? That thing's thick as hell, and I couldn't imagine how it could be possible.

well i've read online there was some series with defects in the bridge

it started bending slowly where the string goes in the bridge
then yesterday i changed strings and increased from light to medium gauge, and i was tuning, the part where it holds the string 'bullet' cracked (on the D string)

am glad i have another bass but i really want to fix this one ASAP as there's not much time i can waste so i can send it with my friend
