Hey guys, im after 4x black tuners for an american jazz, the thing is i can only seem to find ones which fit a MIM jazz, which are a different type....

I wondered if anyone would know any siters where i could find them, or could i just say install any black 1s i wanted?? like hipshot 1s or something?

Thanks

which year american jazz? your jazz uses 11/16" peg holes. if you want to put more screw holes in the back of your headstock, you can use any tuners that need 11/16" peg holes. schaller, hipshot, gotoh, fender etc

You might also post in *wanted* in the classified section; that forum is actually open to non-supporting members, & I've found a few items by advertising there recently.

yeah, i have not seen the mia schaller tuners you have available in black. you'll have to buy black tuners with a different mounting screw pattern. they won't be able to utilise the two mounting holes that your tuners use. you'll have to drill more screw holes.
