Got a T-40 recently. Was in desperate need of a setup. Broke it down, cleaned it, set it up, and found my saddles bottomed out with just a little lowering remaining. Had to put some tilt into it. Of my 5 bolt-ons, 4 have micro-tilts. In my 27 years of playing, I've never had to put the micro-tilt into play, until now. Tightened the screw firm, slacked the strings, loosened the neck screws, and gave it one full turn. Perfect. I love the added room I have between the strings and body. I knew this would be the result, but never thought about using it for personalization, just low bridge issues. Think I'm going to tweak the rest of my basses and install a micro-tilt on the one that is lacking.
Embrace the micro-tilt!
That is all.
