Mighty Mite Jazz neck

Sign in to disble this ad
The truss rod in my P bass neck is adjusted to its limit and still has to much relief. I prefer a Jazz neck anyway and also maple to rosewood on the fret board.
How is the quality of the Mighty Mite necks. I didn't pay a whole lot for this bass so the Mighty Mite price range looks pretty good, I just don't want to throw away a hundred bucks on a pile of garbage.

I have one. The holes they drill for tuners are unusual - and large, like just over 11/16 (18mm?)

If you are looking at one of those $80 ebay necks, You'll want to get the frets dressed/leveled too. But their are straight and seem well made.

Some list the radius of the neck at 9.5 and on ebay it's listed at 15. Do you guys know what the actual radius of the neck is?

Radius is 15. If you haven't tried adding a couple of washers to your old neck truss rod, it fixed my problem. I ended up making my washers. To the OP, this neck was bought on eBay. I love the playability/eveness with flatwounds.

I bought a MM Jazz neck for a build i did last year, it was Maple/rosewood. When i got it it didnt have neck holes drilled, just the tuner holes, and they fit the tuners i had on my Squier VM jazz.. So whatever tuners come on the VM jazz fit my MM neck no problem, however when i bought new tuners the holes where to big haha

The neck played well, no issues with the frets. It was a bit chunky front to back compared to the VM jazz and my HWY jazz, but still comfy. They make multiple necks so you can get different radii i believe mine was 9.5 or 10 ish...

They are worth the 90$ or so
