Mighty Mite Neck finishing Question.....

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

I just bought a MM maple neck from a fellow TB`er.

here is the link to it...
FS/FT-Might Mite Neck Maple/Maple complete

My question is...

What are the finishing options out there that I can apply to this neck? (I would like an overall fast/smooth neck)

Where can I source the required Hardware?

Thanks for reading. I would really appreciate your opinion.

The MM neck does already have a finish albeit fairly thin. I just installed one and I love it. You can find hardware on eBay at all price and quality ranges, but I would recommend good tuners.

Could you recommend a few, that you are satisfied with?

I plan to put on Labella Jamerson set (and from what I gather, I am told it has very high tension). Which tuners would be able to withstand that kind of tension?

Schallers, Kluson, Hip Shot, all are good. Looking at the tuners on your neck you will probably have to drill new screw holes to install any of these. I'd first replace the broken screw and see if the existing tuners work OK. If it ain't broke?
