MIJ neck and a Warmoth body.

Hi guys, I have a little predicament and I was wondering if I could get some opinions here.

I've got a new fretless neck on order for a MIJ P-bass. Anyway, I took the old neck off and checked the fitting on a Warmoth body I picked up a few weeks ago. It appears as though this neck deviates from standard Fender specs in that it is 1mm deeper and 2mm wider in the neck pocket (approximate measurements with a tape ruler... it seems as though my research that this is a common issue with MIJ Fenders.) Seeing as I've already got the parts and body to build another bass I'm torn on what to do now:

A - Modify the Warmoth neck pocket for the MIJ neck (which would make life far more difficult in the future should I get another neck.)

B - Modify the heel of the neck itself.

C - Count my losses and by a new neck

Any opinions and feedback would be most appreciated

Modify the neck pocket. Really easy to do with a sanding block, I've done it 2 times for fitting my MIJ neck on a Warmoth and a Squier body.

I figured that would be the most sensible choice. Thanks for the advice
