Mike Lull Battery Cavity Noise

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

Has anybody out there experience a microphonic noise when tapping on the pop out battery compartment of their Lull? Typically the 18volt variety. Is there a fix for this?

If it one like this, you should be able to remedy the problem with a folded up piece of paper on the butt of the battery so the contact terminals make good contact with the battery terminals.

Hey Nino,

Yes, it's the double 9volt one. Is that a common occurance with these type of battery compartments? By the way, great job on packing my new Sadowsky s/n 4582.

Old thread, but I have discovered the same problem with my Lull. Thanks Nino for the suggestion - I will give it a try.

New improved battery cover

I recently scored this baby. As you can see, Mike's newer basses now sports an improved battery cover. It's not the tool-less design, but now you no longer have the noise associated with older design.
