MIM P Bass Bridge Cover

Greetings and having searched Talkbass forums for info on whether a vintage bridge cover would fit my year 2000 MIM P bass I am pleased to say that the one I ordered from Thomann.de via Amazon is a perfect fit (.08" x 3 5/8" x 2 3/4" internal approx.).It is a genuine Fender part for 18.90 Euros.Covers the bridge plus the foam pad I added.Don't think I will drill holes for screws though but will go for the double sided tape option suggested in a previous thread.I will just glue screw heads on the two holes to make it look authentic.Just thought I would share that.Regards.
