MM Sterling pickguard question:

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, can anyone help me out?

Can someone with a Music Man Sterling measure the exact distance from the front of the humbucker to the neck?

I'm attempting to put a MM Sterling pickguard on a NON MM, and want to see if it will fit right.

This would be a HUGE help!!! thanks fellas!

Thank you so much.

I'm getting a used MM pickguard from a local guitar shop for $15 bucks, and I'm going to ATTEMPT to turn my Carvin Kit bass into a mongrel of a music man copy.

(pause for laughter...)

I know, I know. crazy, but hey, it just might work. The bass doesnt sound THAT thick acoustically, but the action can get nice and low, and I'm gonna turn it into a slapper.
