Modifying Squier MB-5

Hey everybody

I have a Fender squier Mb-5 jazz bass i want to make some modifications on it what can you prefer which type of Pickups etc... i really want to get a new better sound from it

I fitted one with DiMazio Ultra Jazz pups. Had to rout out the slots a bit but it was w-e-l-l worth it.

Mine had jazz style pick ups, but they were the size of the 4 string version. also they are the same size, I forget if its two bridge or two neck pickups. take it to a shop and compare it to the 4 string jazz pickups, just remember that your selection is limited because the strings wont line up with the pole peices of the 4 string.
