Modulus owners...cleaning your bass

I'm looking to clean my Quantum 5, mainly the fret board. I'm not sure what would be best to clean this. I'm not sure soap and water would do the trick, any other recommendations?

Also, for the body, has anybody used a car product (swirlmark remover, wax) on their bass?

naptha is what i've always used to clean all of my basses. naptha is lighter fluid and surprisingly a great cleaner and is safe for most finishes.

Well I've never needed to clean the fretboard on my Q5 and I've owned it for almost 7 years.

The phenolic board still looks great.

I can't even remember the last time I wiped the board down with a cloth.

As for polish, yes I've used car polish on the body.
Don't use cutting wax it will strip off the clearcoat.
Some waxes may make the body very slippery - could be an issue depending on your right hand placement.
I've used an amourall polish with good results. Wrap the control pots in sellotape otherwise they get polish residue on them.
