music man tuners with only 3 screws anyone seen one like this

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone ever seen tuning pegs on an older stingray
that are attached by 3 screws 2 towards the end of the headstock and 1 towards the fingerboard .

These tuners look kind of flimsy not much metal to them
I have only seen the fender schaller style on any Musicmans that I have seen and I have been around since they started
making them in the 70s .

Anybody have any info. on what these might be they are not modern tuners as the gear is held on by a slot head screw .

thanks B.
