My 5er is full of fretbuzz

Now I tend to do a lot of work on the higher frets, above 12th fret. But recently I've been getting more and more fretbuzz on the D and G strings, and occasionally on the A. It's usually around the 14th fret that it begins.

The truss is fine, you could use the neck as a ruler, and the bridge is also fine. Any other ideas?

Sounds like a ski jump; put a capo on the neck at the 10th fret. hold down a string at the last fret, and see if there's relief there.

"you could use the neck as a ruler" There should be some relief in the neck.

Having said that, normally if it's buzzing on the first five frets it's too straight. If it's buzzing at twelve and up, that's too much relief.

Could the saddles have slipped on the D and G strings?

Bob
