What's an ashtray? Or, if its a dish where you dump your cigarette ash, then why would you put it on or near your bass?

i've been talking about adding an ashtray and a badass for a while and nobody said anything about it.
it's cool, i guess i'm gonna put it on my P copy. which will look weird, but hell if i'm going to waste $16.

sell the ashtray on ebay for $10...someone will DEFINITELY buy it for that...

I've never considered an ashtray on my P-copy but, I've read more than 1 or 2 threads here about BA's and ashtrays being incompatible.

Ashtray equipped basses come with the stock bridge which is much narrower. The Bad Ass is a better thing to have anyway, the ashtray is just a cosmetic feature that takes up fingering room.
