I have a Fender P-Bass Special with active noiseless pickups.

I just got the leo quan badass II bridge and a fresh pair of DR Fat Beams slapped on it about an hour ago.

something weird is happening though...

it's freakin noisy now!

NOTE: I can only hear the noise when my amp's horn is on.

example:
Traynor YBA 200-2 thru a Traynor TC1510,
Horn ON=Noise
Horn OFF=No Noise (that I can hear anyway)

same thing with my combo, a GK MB115.

any idea why? is it because the badass bridge has so much more "umph"

is this coincidental and i need to change my bass's 9v?

how can i fix this?

thanks,

andrew

Some one forgot to install the ground wire for the bridge &/or wired the pup wrong. P pups are normally hum cancelling but ground wire for bridge is still needed.

The ground wire is not connected to the bridge.
