My fret markers are peeling up or something.

The black fret marker dots on my bass are peeling or something. They're half gray and half black. Is this caused by something I'm doing? Or maybe it could just be the humidity, all my screws and pole pieces are rusted after a year in Florida.

Seems like your bass is getting way too much moisture.

I would consider a dehumidifier for the room that you keep your bass in, or this will just keep getting worse.

A few weeks ago, I (stupidly) left my studio window open, and it poured rain all night, the next day my fretless was insanely buzzy...it took about 6 days for it to return to normal.
