I was watching/playing with my toddler this evening, while my wife was out with our other kids doing back to school stuff. We were playing with my basses and amp (he is really into music and enjoys dancing to my grooves - I take it that's a good sign ), when he spilled his "spill proof" cup of water on our rug in front of our sofa. While I went to get towels to clean up the mess, he amused himself plugging and unplugging the instrument cable from the amp, which I figured would be harmless. The little twerp then plugged in my cable halfways and bent the plug while it was inside my amp, breaking the plug off inside my amp.

Gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No offence, but does he seem to enjoy hitting things with sticks?

he enjoys beating up his 6 year old brother; I swear he's my clone (but cuter; fortunately we can thank his mom for that.)

That's a sign of a true musician. Always pushing the envelope, to see how far they can go.

Whatever you do, don't ever give him a baseball bat to play with.

Or a hammer.

I bet when you tell your kid about the science of amps his response might resemble this.

It's like Yoda and Winston Churchill had a love child.
