Mystery Bridge

Anyone recognize this bridge it has no manufacturer markings. It appears to be for a Fender bass but has 2 extra screw holes up front. I’m looking to update my stock fender P-Bass special bridge and came across this.

I put a similar one, in black, on my 86 Jazz Special when the height screws backed out , dropping the saddles to the baseplate. IIRC it did not have the extra screws, though; it seemed to drop right in w/o any added modding. This was back in 86, BTW.

Looks identical to the Gotoh 201, which is a drop-in replacement for the standard 5-screw Fender bridge...EXCEPT for those two extra holes in the front. Hrmmmm...

I've seen those exact ones on a parts website. They are generic bridges. No name.

Yep, this looks like it.

Not quite - the original pic has five screw holes along the back edge (seven in total) and the one you're linking to has four holes - one at each corner.

Missed that completely. Close but no cigar.
