naptha & unfinished maple

Anyone have any thoughts on cleaning a very stubborn maple board with naptha? Its an unfinished musicman neck....

Ive really tried about every other way of getting this thing clean.....

i'd be comfortable giving it a try. you might want to give it a fine sand with 300 and then 600 grit paper to see if it cleans up too.

Naptha should work fine, and it's mild enough not to harm the finish on the back of the neck.

Try the Naptha but maple stains are impossible to get out of the wood without sanding and refinishing. If it's on top, it will come off. If it's inside the wood - ferget about it.
