Narrow 5-String Bridge needed

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can help me.

I'm looking to convert a 4-string to a 5, but I need a bridge. Problem is, the overall string spacing can't be more than 61mm (2 3/8"). Oh, and it has to be available in black.

I've looked at monorail type bridges and most of them are over 15mm wide, so no good unless I machine them down.

Not too much to ask surely?

The Schaller 956 5 is pretty narrow

Great bridges - I had the 4-string version on another bass. Unfortunately, they only go down to 63.5mm, so no go for this project I'm afraid

Wow, that's going to be insanely tight... have you actually played something with spacing that close? Kudos if you can make it work, I'm just curious.

It's only about 2mm tighter than the top 5 on my Peavey Grind 6. This is a short-scale (30") too, so I reckon it won't be a problem, especially once I get piccolo strings on it
