Its a squier affinity p bass that im modding. Its one of the few "lucky ones" that came from the factory feeling like a good MIM P Bass. So with a few tweaks i should have it sounding perfect.

Rosewood. I have a Squier Affinity Strat in creme/white/rosewood that could be that P Bass's little sister.

+1. For instance, I looooove Geddy Lee's neck (that sounds weird, I mean his bass), but with dot inlays, that much white is...bland.

maple = more bright sound
rosewood = more darker bass sound imo
up2 which one looks the best for you
