Neck back bow help

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi..
I have an Alvarez AEB6 solid body bass from around 2000 I believe, and it's developed a backbow, even though both truss rods are backed off completely now. It was never 'overtrussed' or stored without strings, never refretted and it used to play well.
I've tried several things to attempt to correct the backbow, but so far, nothing has worked.
Any advice? I don't have a luthier anywhere near here and I'd rather straighten it out myself if possible. Has anyone here managed to correct this condition?
Thanks!!
