I have a Bongo that has a gash in the poly finish on the back of the neck right where my hand rests. I know of some Bongo owners that have sanded down their necks to the wood to do the oil and wax finish like other EBMM basses. Is it possible to dye the wood so that the wood itself is stained to match (or at least resemble) the body color but also keep the natural finish on the back? |
