Neck dive on a Mustang

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm not sure if it's because of my crappy, $2 walmart strap, or it's just neck heavy. It tends to fall, headstock first, if I just leave it sitting on my lap or something, but then again all my basses have done that.
Is there an easy way to fix it? Like putting the strap button behind the neck?

Start with a good strap. If that doesn't fix it then you'll need to look into shedding some weight from the headstock by installing lightweight tuners.
