NECK ISSUE- G side dead flat- E side concave (bowed) ..Can heavier strings Fix it?

I got a Kawai FIIB... just picked up from evil bay... the cat shipped it detuned. Don't think this happened because of that...

The neck seems like it has a slight twist (hard to tell).

The neck on the "E" side is concave (bowed) while the "G" side is dead flat.

I've noticed this in other basses I've seen over the years... The Kawai FIIB necks are known to be very solid necks.

The seller just had replaced the strings to a med/light. weight string.

Would changing the strings to a different gauge do this?

.....I'm not too bumbed about it... the seller took $$$ off the bass, and I already got the lowest price I've seen on these in the past couple years. Plus the action is nice and low on the "G" while having a bit higher action on the "E"...good for thumping......, while retaining the same string heights over all ( or a nice arc )....

I had a Warwick Streamer Stage II that was like that too.. I sold it. But seriously, if it's not that bad, you can live with it.

Yea pstyle... I can live with it.

That's why I gladly took the $$ off instead of getting my money back and losing a seriously good deal
