neck question

Sign in to disble this ad
a student of mine brought to his lesson a new old bass that he just purchased.
The neck is in great shape. The action from the first fret up to the 11 fret is perfect. From the 12 fret up it is a little too high and the saddles are adjusted as low as they will go. Any suggestion how to lower the action

Ditto. I prefer a 2 degree tilt on my necks.

Two sheets of telephone book thickness paper did the trick. I actually had to raise the saddles when I restrung it.
