How much neck relief du you have on your basses ?
I'm aiming for 0.2mm (business card thickness), with strings depressed at first and last fret, on my Modulus Q6. Am I right ?

Are you getting any fret buzz while playing?

I aim for .381 mm (.015") but that will vary slightly instrument-to-instrument and with individual playing style.

It depends on your playing style.

I agree with everything that's been said. .2mm (which is about .008" I believe) may be a tiny bit less than the "standard" .010" (.025mm).

Of course, you'll need to set your relief based on your attack/playing style like Zooberwerx and Craig_S mention and it will also depend on how level your frets are. If you get a lot of buzzing in the 1st - 6th fret area you may not have enough relief, whereas if you get a lot of buzz above the 14th-ish fret you may have too much relief (these are pretty generalized and somewhat overly simplified guidelines though, so don't think of them as absolute laws to setting up a bass).

We know which frets you are pressing while measuring your relief, but at which fret are you checking the relief? 7th? 12th?

With properly levelled frets..as straight as I can get it..Usually about the thickness of a dollar-bill when fretted at the first and last fret.

i usually go for slightly more than one business card, probably .25 mm or even 3mm or so. depends on a lot of things.... but .2mm is great except for temperature changes can tend to flatten the neck out a bit, so am more comfortable with .25mm

I like .030" because I get less buzz on my lowers the way I play.

Great site on neck relief > http://www.bryankimsey.com/setup/neck_relief_1.htm

Thinner than a business card, thicker than printer-paper.
I use the corner as a feeler-guage.

I'm at about 2 business cards, and I can get my action down to around 4/64" at the 12th fret. No buzz. But I have a light touch.
