| Neck replacement for Fender P Bass

I own a MIM Fender P bass, I'm unsure of the year, but I need a new neck, my current neck has recently taken sevier damage.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what kind of neck to get and how much its going to cost.
My budget isn't low, but its not high either.
Can anyone help?
