Are Neck-Thru's more Environmentally Sensitive than Bolt-Ons?

I have a Schecter Diamond Elite 5 string Neck Thru which IMHO seems to be a present decent bass. I play a lot of Gospel, Contemporary Christian, R&B and Jazz Funk/Fusion and use DR Lowriders and sometimes Hi-Beams. I find myself having to do setups more frequently than usual, say once or twice a month, and was wondering if and how the midwest weather conditions affect the basses setup. Also, and please don't laugh, but my wife also likes to turn the heat DOWN (I MEAN WAY DOWN) at night making the house pretty cold, does this in any way contribute to needing constant trussrod adjustments?

It can, sure. Generally I need to do two setups a year...one in summer, one in winter. But yes, constant weather and temp changes such as your wife turning down the AC to freezing can contribute. Not to mention the reaming your wallet gets when the power bill comes.
