Neck truss rod question

Do I need to loosen the truss rod tension on my P bass while I swap out the bridges? Strings would be off for 1/2 hr max. I like where my neck relief is now and don't really want to mess with it. Thanks.

No, to your question. Just relieve the tension at the tuners.

Install was a success. Gotoh 201 went on without a problem, didn't have to shim the neck. Set up and ready to go!
