I need to replace the neck on a project bass I bought on ebay. When I measure the neck I get 2 and 7/16ths of an inch. All the replacement necks I find on ebay are 2 and 1/2 inches. What's the deal here, is 2 and 1/2 inches the standard size? I don't want to buy a neck and then not have it fit. If it's any help the neck came off an old Hohner PJ bass. Thanks, Jim |
