...and what's wrong with the bridge in the first place? If you need a quick fix, whether it be temporary or permanent, you're at the right place.

Got a pic?

you could try the IBANEZ shop, but I don't know if it would ship in time!

his reason for not being able to get it was that he couldnt find a bridge to match my old bass. Its odd because ive used this place a 100 times before and have had no problems at all.

Now the worst part about this is i was having them do a tune up on the bass and having it restrung, and they lost the saddle for the G string!!!!! i coundt believe it so they habbed one in there but it plays like crap. So now im looking for a new bridge.

What kind of ibanez is it? Some of them had recessed bridges while some were flush mounted.

Should be "they're looking for a new bridge". Need closer pics of the bridge, different angles, good lighting please.

That's the serial number, not the model number. We need a clear picture of the bridge, the bass doesn't really matter.

How exactly did they lose the saddle? That throws up a huge red flag for me.

Unless someone came in and stole it, that saddle is somewhere in that shop.

I'd be all over the manager/owner like white on rice. They need to have that bass working 100%. If not, ask for a loaner bass until they do.

Basically, go in there today, and don't leave until you are 100% satisfied with their service, and how they plan on making things right.

^^^^^^^^^Agree w/ the above. The culpability/responsibility
is the repair shop's--they must make good on this.

Sorry for my earlier grouchiness.

they gave me a loaner

they also said they have looked high and low for the saddle and its just gone so they guaranteed me that they would replace the parts for free no questions asked and gave me a bunch of other schwag

here are the pics of the bridge as it is now all habbed up

Try taking the screws out (of just that saddle), flip the saddle over (so the long side is to the edge of the bridge), and reinsert the screws. The offset might sit better like that and work fine for the short-term.

+1 on demanding a loaner if nothing else.

There is a little thing called wood puty, wood filler, wood plugs. There is no reason a professional should'nt be able to get a new bridge on for you. That right there is enough to make me quit going to the shop. They also lost your saddle! I wonder what else they lost? Ya, that is pathetic I would never go there again.
