Need help with retrofitting my MiM J bass.

Today I bought this for $300. The bridge is zinc/tin or something, and I have already stripped the heads of the saddle heighth screws, just thru normal turning. Also, the nut was chipped at the G string slot. I knew about the nut; and I am figureing on a Tusq pre-slotted 1 1/2 x 1/4 x 1/8. The bridge situation is what I am a bit worried about. The hipshot FM 1 4 string looks great, they say it will fit right on a 5 hole MiM stock with no drilling required. Is this true? Does anyone have any advice?
