Need New FB & Trussrod...

...and I'm not sending it back to the builder as I no longer have any confidence. I have one shot to get this thing right. If it doesn't happen, I'm gonna strip the hardware and elex. and pitch the rest

What I'm looking for is a top-flight luthier who can remove the fingerboard and two-truss rod, install a heavy-duty rod, and replace the board with pau ferro, rosewood, or maple. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of contacting Stew-Mac....they seem to have a team of guys who can work wonders.

Unless its a thru or set neck, Id think it might be cheaper to replace the whole neck. Rather then trying to replace existing necks fretboard and retrofit heavier truss rod into existing one. Just a thought.

Sorry, forgot to mention that it's a set-neck. You are correct, otherwise.
