I picked up a Peavey Grind 6 string bass for $250 with a case here locally. Can anyone recommend me some new tuners, given the price I paid for this axe (in other words.....cheap as hell but an upgrade to the ones already on it)?
The ones on it are not very sturdy, some have a "stripped out gear" feel to them although they do seem to work just fine. Keep in mind I need 6 of them, and CHEAPPPP!!
Also what color would you recommend? It has black ones on it, perhaps some shiny gold ones would give me some more high end as this bass seems to have a darker, less trebly sound than I'm used to.
