Yeah, they mean Geddy. From the pics, I can't tell any difference between that bridge and a 'Std Bass II'. But i do know that Geddy and Marcus use standard II's, which makes the sales sticker all the more confusing. Maybe the older II's were brass, and the newer ones pot metal....yeah, that might be it.

This model is not mentioned on their website:
http://www.leoquan.com/
I don't see it anywhere on Allparts' site either.

The II's aren't made of brass or pot metal. They advertise making them out of a high density zinc alloy used for its tonal properties.

I don't believe this very reputable company would have spelled Geddy's name incorrectly, as he is a long time user of their products.

I think this is a counterfeit.

Zinc alloys are considered "pot metal".

Baddass uses a weird metal combination that is very hard. It also adds what many call "treble zing". Which to me is ussually an annoying coloration added. A brass baddass bridge would be nicer sounding imo. More even sound and none of that treble zing added effect common to baddass bridge.

I bought two BA bridges recently from ReliableFender on the 'bay and the BAII came with a sticker saying it was a "BAII2" like this one, with some "new and improved" metal. It didn't have the "Getty Lee" endorsement on it though.

I haven't A/B'd it, but I didn't have a problem with the BAII and the BAII2 works just fine too.
