New bridge on a Carvin

i have an older Carvin 5 string. i love it, but i dont like the bridge. it has an older model bridge, Wilkinson i think.
i really like both of these bridges, what do you all think?

I personally think the Hipshot 'A' style, and the ABM bridges are as good as it gets.

Hipshot "A". I love those bridges, have 2 on my own basses and just replaced a Wilkinson Bridge on a LB76 for a Hipshot "A" for a friend. We were both very impressed by the improvement in tone and we were able to get the setup just right which was impossible with the Wilkinson.

I have the older Hipshot B on my 5 string carvin which works just fine, but the new Carvins are coming with the Hipshot A. The B version costs 1/2 as much as the A. Go with the Hipshot.

i have a few quick questions, whats the difference between the Aluminum and Brass Hipshot "A"s? are the tones much different? is brass better? is it worth the 20 bux more or not really?
