New Bridge for my 6er

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey,

So I need a new bridge for my 6 string because one of the screws for the E string broke and no longer able to be intonated.

It is a Peavey Grind 6.

The bridge is currently like this one in black
http://www.guitarpartscentral.com/st...dge-p-133.html

But I would like to put these in it:http://www.hipshotproducts.com/cart....t_detail&p=223

Would that work?
Have any of our had expereince replacing bridges?
If so is it easy or should I have somebody do it?

Thanks!

Those triple lock down bridges are nice, but a PITA to install. You have to route for a small "bulge" on the bottom of each individual bridge. Also, they are rather spendy...

Is your bass setup for string through?
