New Bridge/Tuners?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've seen a lot if people talking about replacing the tuners and the bridge on their basses when they mod them.....besides aesthetic reasons, what benefits do they create?

Depending on the parts you're switching to/from:

Higher quality parts
Better adjustability
Better tuning stability
Different tone (Badass II for example)
Lighter (Hipshot UL's for example)
Different materials (brass vs. aluminum)
