On the fretboard. It's not deep, but it defiantly makes it not smooth. Thankfully it's just a Squire, unfortunately, its my only bass. Anyway i can fix it up a bit, or would I have to live with it?

It's a Squire Standard Jazz Bass. The ding is right under 5th fret on the side where you look down on the fretboard. Between the brown line, and fretboard. I know i am not supposed to have my thumb down there. Hmmmm.

Btw. I got it while trying to connect my amps lineout to the line in on my PC. Made my bass trip and hit the floor. This bass is gonna be my official, by the computer bass, when I get a new one. Got it blem'd anyway.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's just one of many the bass'll get. If you're deadset on fixing it, a drop of superglue might be the answer.

I hate those dings of defiance.

If it's a dent from an impact, dampen it with a Q-tip. Apply water 2-3 times and let it soak in. You might be surprised how much wood can rebound.
