Just saw this new bridge design on hipshots site, looks like a slick 2 piece bridge solution. Anybody here try one yet? Any idea if they make a six string version?

Agreed. Love the look, hopefully the function too. But unfortunately the next bridge I buy will be for a five string.

It seems pretty cool, maybe a little chunky, but cool. I would like to hear some feedback from users who have installed them on their basses.

I really like the ETS 2 piece bridge design, but for my current build project, its not really an option.

Hipshot is adding 5 string D style 2 piece bridge systems to their website this next week (I asked). I think I'm gonna try one on my "other" fiver.

If you jump on their website, go to "Contact Us" and send your question to their genearal category, they will respond ...

FYI, I emailed them a few weeks back, asking if they'd make the D style for 6 string in 18mm, and they said yep. not sure on the turnaround time, but i've been thinking about it
