New neck for a P

My vintage modified P's neck went FUBAR in an accident and i'm looking for the cheapest solution.

I've always loved maple necks with block inlays and thought this might be the chance to get one.

These things cost +300$ so that kinda gets me hesitating.
Where can i find the cheapest necks?
Is it better to buy and SX and get the neck off?

You can buy just the neck from an SX.

That SX neck is a 3/4 scale.

Mighty Mite necks are about $100. No blocks, but they work.
