New Neck for a Peavey Fury VI?
Hey fellow low-enders,
I was hoping someone here might be able to give me a line on how to acquire a new neck for my Peavey Fury VI. It developed a nasty twist and slowly became unusable. My luthier cast about a little bit and came up with zeroes for a stock replacement neck, and I have not the funds to pay him to build me one.
Thanks in advance!
Sell it for parts and buy a new one. I hate to be the pessimist, but it's probably not worth the trouble.
It is definitely not worth the trouble. I had one for my first six string and what a horrible, horrible B string. I think I bought the bass for $300 and sold it for under $400, it would cost about that much for a decent neck, if you really want to fix it go for it, just know that you will never see a return on your investment and the money is better spent on a different bass.
Thanks for the advice
I appreciate the input. Thanks.
I may strip it for parts or hang on to it for Frakensteining.
