Hi

Does anyone know if there are numbered (Strat-style) 1/4" knobs for Precision bass available somewhere?

Any knobs fit, just make sure if its solid shaft or split knurled shaft, USA size or metric. If your bass is Mexico, Japan, etc. You likely need metric. Allparts will have all you need. There is no difference between guitar and bass knobs.

Look at your knobs. If you see a hole in the side of them there's a set screw holding them on the shaft.= solid shaft USA. If not, you have split shafts (push on knobs) and need to find out if they're metric or USA.

My '92 MIM Precision came stock with Strat-style knobs. You just need split-shaft pots with them.

I use them on my P. I use split shaft pots though. If you have an MIA fender, you may have a problem.

Pots are easy to replace if you're desperate enough for the numbers though
